Roy Miller is a defensive tackle who played in the NFL for 9 seasons. Born in Longview, Texas, Miller displayed a talent for football from a young age, excelling at Longview High School where he earned accolades for his performance on the defensive line.

Miller attended the University of Texas, where he was a dominant force on the defensive line for the Longhorns. His impressive college career, characterized by his strong run-stopping abilities and defensive prowess, led to him being selected in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

During his NFL career, Miller played for several teams, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, and San Diego Chargers. Known for his strong defensive presence and ability to anchor the line, Miller made significant contributions to each team’s defensive efforts. His work ethic and leadership on the field earned him respect from teammates and coaches alike.

After retiring from professional football, Miller transitioned into coaching, where he has continued to influence the game from the sidelines. He is currently coaching at Providence School in Jacksonville, Florida, where he brings his extensive experience and knowledge of the game to developing young athletes. Miller is dedicated to mentoring players and helping them improve their skills, focusing on both their physical development and understanding of the game.
